Hospice Nurse (Former Employee) –  Tulsa, OKDecember 12, 2013
Typical day was visiting with approximately 6-8 hospice patients and assess for any change in status. Occasional admission to hospice service. Learned a new respect for the needs of the dying person and their family, especially in the home setting. The employees worked well as a team.
Cons
Driving distances were extreme

Administrator/Alternate Supervising Nurse (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXFebruary 13, 2018
Good Shepherd Hospice cares about its employees and patients they serve. They are small, so each employee is responsible for several different jobs/duties.

Hospice work is very personally rewarding work. Great team of people helping the patients and their families. There is a great deal of turnover, which can be difficult.
