Great place to work. Laid back and not hard at all. I would absolutely work there again if they had another opening available. You get in the car and get to drive around.

Google displayed the attitude of a team-player while also focusing on individual ways to improve. Google remains dedicated, punctual and dependable. With more work on organization and quality, Google is on it's way to meeting and exceeding all expectations. I am confident these positive attributes will continue to grow as Google gains more market experience.

Semplicemente il più bel lavoro che ho fatto ( tutt'ora sto facendo) in vita mia, e in 25 anni di attività lavorativa ne ho cambiati tanti, un lavoro stimolante, appassionante, itinerante, in più una squadra di lavoro eccezionale dai superiori ai colleghi, stipendio molto adeguato, unica pecca che è un lavoro a progetto, quindi aimè ha un inizio e una fine purtroppo, e spero che duri il più possibile.5 stelle comunque.

Pretty solid

Street View Driver (Former Employee) - New England - February 4, 2022

Once you get in the groove of things and if you're a good driver it is quite an easy job. Pretty nice to be able to listen to music/podcasts and visit new cities daily. Biggest downside is the pay. Adecco does the recruiting, drivers are paid the same rate across the country. $15 an hour, which is the pay, is very different in Massachusetts is comparison to Alabama. There is absolutely no overtime either. So people that are capable of driving even longer per day, or want to work an extra day on the weekend, are unable to do that. The least Google could is pay their Street View drivers a living wage.

Loved this job, the team was great to work with and I enjoyed basically being my own boss.

Absolutely loved working with Google. They were friendly and helpful but also demand a lot from their employees. It was amazing working with them and I would love another job with Google.

Basically your own boss. Make your own hours. Work alone (safer during pandemic)

The only problem I have with them is that , the time I work for them to update the Lagos state map , with they award the contract to Polaris digitech in Lagos , I was one of the driver that did a great job , but they are not care about us

I loved working independently. I had a Ops lead that I could call, if need be. But for the most part all communication was done via Email with new towns to map and due dates.

A typical day at work was to go out to an area of Palm Beach County and "map the area" according to my GPS system inside the car. A camera was mounted on the top of the car for information gathering.

I had a helper and we would pick up our car for the day and we would go on our route. i would drive and the helper would deliver the material. we would pick up material from stores and deliver them to customers

Google is a great company to work in and the experience is awesome the greatest job I ever had. To be a part of google street view project I’m really proud and a memorable one.

Working remotely from 3000 miles away from the office can be both a blessing and a curse. I knew id never recieve emails in the middle of the night but, depending on who you "Ops-Lead" is, They may either take forever to reply or not reply at all. However that aside, I love driving and i like being by myself. I was perfect for the job, but i can definitely see not everyone being able to handle it.

Everyday I mapped a new area of either my city or the surrounding counties. I learned the city like the back of my hand this way and with the guidance of management(who were awesome) I efficiently got my job done. The hardest part was simply getting used to working a job that didn't require me to do back breaking work. It was very odd just driving all day and getting paid for it but very enjoyable.
