Perform.. Or be broke, and poor when they make you pay them back.
Search Consultant (Former Employee) –  Sioux Falls, SDFebruary 26, 2018
Constant Micro Management. 60-100 calls a day or 3 hours of phone time. Working in areas heavily saturated with recruiters. They say you have an area that is yours to work in, but Senior Recruiters push you out when they run out of work to do in their areas.
There are favorites within the company. Recruiters that are the top performers are not required to make the call volume as the others. Constantly swore at in meetings. Every meeting being told if we don't get send outs we will be fired in a round about way.
Every month you go $2,000 into the draw. Only way out of that draw is if you make a placement. You go into the draw every month regardless of the outcome. You also have to pay $300 a month for resources that is taken out of that $2,000. So after that, health insurance, dental, vision and taxes you see a check between $1,000 and $1,200 paycheck at the end of the month. Also if you leave with a draw balance, they will come after you for it. Leaving you more broke.
Pros
Great fellow coworkers
Cons
Management, Favoritism, Micro Management, Monthly draw of $2000 even though you get less than that.

Great culture with unlimited earning potential
Search Consultant (Current Employee) –  Sioux Falls, SDJanuary 2, 2017
The earning potential at gpac is completely dependent on the work you put in. Management and leadership wants nothing more to see everyone succeed and reach their full potential, and they have created one of the best work cultures in Sioux Falls (we just got air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, and a dart board in the office). This job is not for everyone, but if you are self motivated, competitive, and eager to achieve your financial dreams while working with a great team, gpac is an opportunity to explore!
Pros
Culture, earning potential, team environment
Cons
It can take up to 6 months to get your feet under you (Could also only take 6 weeks)

Best culture, and opportunity for someone without a degree. Absolutely love the team, and what is possible here. It helps that there's a leadership team who wants you to succeed.

Division Manager (Current Employee) –  Sioux FallsMarch 4, 2015
Working with this company is both challenging and highly rewarding. It's challenging because it forces a person to discover who they really are, and want to be as a professional. It will demand that you become self motivated, take initiative, and take responsibility for yourself 100%. Success & failure are totally under your control at all times. To make 45k or less will be frustrating, and cause a lot of stress, but to make 60k+ to over 200k will seem like the easiest job in the world. But only if you can drive yourself to show up consistently, be adaptable, listen to advice, and stick to the numbers until you develop your client base. This job isn't for everyone, but even if it doesn't work out for a person, I do believe they will be far more "self-aware" of what they want in a career due to the experience, and be more successful because of the opportunity. The 1st year is the challenge, after that, things just seem to work out for most people.
Pros
freedom to chose if you show up to work or not
Cons
Performance based, the draw check isn't something a person should be fine living on

Stay away from this P.O.S. company! They micromanage you to death and will take advantage of anyone for financial gain. This is a terrible place to work if you value your sanity.

Long hours. 24-7 Business. Learned how manage my own desk. Learned marketing and sales.Worked with some good people.Hardest part about job was dealing with management. Most enjoyable part was interacting with clients and making sure their needs were met in a timely fashion.
