My first suggestion is this, maybe just maybe if they would give more of a attainable labor budget where the stores could be better staffed they wouldn't have such a high turnover rate. Also other gas stations start you out at a higher pay rate.....
However with the ridiculous budget corporate gives things will never be good. They expect managers to be able to do everything I mean everything. And you couldn't pay me enough to ever take a position higher then assistant manager.

I was asking to due manager jobs as well when one manager quit I was running the store wouldn't even bump me up to manager even after the fact I did a major truck order bymself due to the hurricane had about 1700 pieces coming from the truck checking in vendors all myself didn't have enough employees to help on first shift so things could get done busy store to be single coverage also had to run second shift by myself when they had two people on first then soon I got there on second the managers hauled left me stranded I know I was assistant manager but still you still need help running registers so side work can get done so its not so much for the next shift to cover. Very poorly running operation I never missed but one day couldn't call out on the weekend cause upper management didn't want to come in and have the assistant manager back. Its mighty funny how they call assistants for help but won't bump them up highly unfairly company.

I don't work there anymore because of being treated badly and going from 40 plus to like 31hrs a week. I really did enjoy my job but didn't like being treated wrong.
