CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in Cheyenne, WY
on October 25, 2019
The facility and horrifying and disgusting. Housekeeping cleans up nothing, rooms stay dirty for days, I’ve had patients count the days it takes for someone to clean up patients mess they leave on the floor on purpose up. There are mice running around entire people which scared me because bugs and rodents don’t seem like a healthy and sanitary place to be. They are always short staff, between CNA and HSA. And the HSA could be such a great help to the CNAs and the CNAss appreciate them because it takes a lot off of them. But also the CNAs bust their butt and it’s not enough help which leaves the CNAs exhausted and worn out and physically in pain

Poor unsafe staffing. Horrible treatment of employees and patients. No lunch breaks for some nurses, no help for admissions, many of new admissions are not appropriate for level of care, really old poorly equipped building, nurses have to provide their own basic equipment for vital signs

refuses to help.......................they are completely useless in regards to how they manage the floors. Its stupid. They don't know anything about maintaining a healthcare facility.

Granite is the worst. I loved working with my fellow CNA's and I absolutely loved my residents. The management there was horrible. We were understaffed. CNA's going between floors just trying to get every resident up for every meal, but management was always up our aŝŝeŝ for us not being able to handle that everyday and not willing to help. Absolutely horrible.
Title or Resident Care Manager in Cheyenne, WY

This facility is very poor at investing in their employees! No matter how much you accomplish for the residents or your team you are constantly pushed beyond your limits and are punished if you are tired, cranky, or make a mistake because you are so tired!
