Horrible. You might be schedule 8-5 Monday-Friday but that is subject to change at the drop of a hat with no warning to you. WYMT is open 24/7/365 and they don't care if you have to work late or on Christmas or another holiday. You are not important. Trust me you will be constantly reminded of that.

Standard shifts are:
8a-5p
8:30a-5:30p
10a-7p
7p-7a

-Salary employees often work 12+ hour shifts.
-Hourly employees are not allowed to work overtime.
- If you are required to work on Saturday then you must take off a day during the week.
-If you are on the remote broadcast crew your day can start at 3:00p and go until 2a.

Scheduling is horrible --- Hourly employees who work on remote broadcast crews often don't get a full 40 hours by mistake.

You will ocassionally be asked to clock out if you are "riding" in a company car from point A to point B. Only the driver can be on the clock.

This is not a job for anyone with a family, spouse, even serious boyfriend/girlfriend or even a pet. If you want to marry your job. Apply at WYMT
