Unfair treatment.we all have family freinds pets or a life. Its wrong to allow unflexble employees who just dont value a job to work mon- fri 9-3 aka the shifts we all want and force the ONLY parent of elementary kids to close up to 6x a week. Wish stylists owned these franchises.

No, you dont have to change your style of cutting. Great Clips does offer training classes to keep our stylist up to date on trends. They will require some training for you to do, but not to change you as a stylist.

It all varries by market and franchisee I’m sure. I made more than 50,000 while i was managing- that included tips. I did not recieve a sign on bonus- my franchisee doesn’t offer it. In mpls area salons open around 8am or 9am.. i think downtown opens earlier for the skyway. As far as I know there isn’t a catch. I made good money, i still make around 50 as a stylist. It depends on where you are in the country.

It was ok. I had to use a live model. My beau was my model. Owner liked the result, i was hired.
It was a bit awkward though as the suite they were opening was being renovated, so there was construction gear & dust everywhere.

This depends on the franchisee and how busy the salon is. The franchise i work for offers weekly productivity that is fairly easy to achieve. Last week i earned an extra $5/hr on productivity and 10% on product. Some weeks are slower- but if you work in a busy salon you’ll be able t0 make 50/yr easily. Also i suppose that depends on your state...
