The entire industry is unethical and corrupt. If i had known I never would have gone to Cosmetology school it’s an awful job these companies treat the stylists like dirt it’s disgusting.

No, you dont have to change your style of cutting. Great Clips does offer training classes to keep our stylist up to date on trends. They will require some training for you to do, but not to change you as a stylist.

Beware of sign on bonus! There's a reason some locations can't keep cutters.its not lack of fresh employees. You'd think after a year or 2 the owner would figure it out. It's not me/ us its the one that's been there all this time. You know the ones that don't need great clips. They have other salon jobs ect ect. Treat your team players rite. The greedy bully needs to go.

It was ok. I had to use a live model. My beau was my model. Owner liked the result, i was hired.
It was a bit awkward though as the suite they were opening was being renovated, so there was construction gear & dust everywhere.

This depends on the franchisee and how busy the salon is. The franchise i work for offers weekly productivity that is fairly easy to achieve. Last week i earned an extra $5/hr on productivity and 10% on product. Some weeks are slower- but if you work in a busy salon you’ll be able t0 make 50/yr easily. Also i suppose that depends on your state...
