The pay I feel isn't that good. Believe me the job isn't that hard. Not saying it isn't hard it is hard but when you do it day in and day out you get use to it. I did the job for 22 years. Yes in those 22 years I moved around but mostly stayed with driving. I feel I was brainwashed my fault what I mean by that is. They told us how good we got it at Great Lakes Coca-cola. You just have to put in the work and you'll find a better pay job and they appreciate you on top of it all. Well guess what we are not even close to great pay. It is a living but since Great Lakes Coca-cola took over in Michigan there is no more making a living. Get out why the getting is good. There are so many Driving positions out there paying so much better and a lot less work and no touch freight to boot. Why would anyone stay at Great Lakes Coca-cola??? I wished I would have left years ago. I wanted to retire from there but when you take the pension away what is there to stay for??? Thank you Great Lakes Coca-cola for opening my eyes!!!
Coca Cola isn't going anywhere but unless there is a shift in management within Reyes Holdings there will be more plant closures and lay offs in the future.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Great Lakes Coca-Cola a better place to work?
Scheduling so the employees will have time to prepare themselves for there route everyday
Disfunctional, disorganized, company ran by a bunch of incompentent people who only care about kissing the butt of there supervisor or executive cause they think they got a chance of getting ahead. Stay away from this place, pay is good but you will be miserable with the day/shift they will stick you on & they will throw you under the bus 1st chance they get, management & employees. Dont trust anybody.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Great Lakes Coca-Cola?
