Program Manager in Valdosta, GA

No work life balance . High turn over rate. Patient care does not seem like a priority. The heavy workload results in quick burnout. There are some really good people that work here and the work is necessary because people are in need of treatment but doing so much with little resources and staffing is just not a good model long term. Definitely needs more staffing and incentives for those that do work to keep the employees satisfied.

This place pays awful. They require you to have a Masters degree, only to pay you $20/hr. You have to work holidays and weekends and are overloaded with work. They are regularly understaffed and their expectations are unrealistic. There is no actual therapy that happens here - it’s just filing out paper and being rushed through patient contacts. There is little support and it is very unorganized. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to work here. Also, there is no security or any real safety measures taken to ensure staff safety

Horrible work environment and perpetually understaffed due to the high turnover rate. Subpar mental health treatment in every way. Dirty facility. I was miserable at the thought of coming in each day knowing the workload was impossible to tackle.

terrible work environment, does not support their staff, does not support their patients. would literally hear people say “let’s make sure to make money off this patient” and not considering if they were getting the treatment they need. spent way too much time crying in my office because of the workload and environment.
