Lot of new management ‘culture change’ and most sales people who were successful are not challenged by influx of new parade of sales managers.

Great Potential
Registered Nurse (RN) (Former Employee) –  FloridaNovember 14, 2018
Greystone is a strong company with the potential to deliver excellent results. Unfortunately a couple of key upper level managers impede the potential of this company. Poor communication, inconsistent expectations and poor resource utilization combined with slashing of clinical positions combine to make this a very difficult company in which to create success. Clinical support appears to be replaced with non clinical staff to save $$$. Field staff salaries and per visit rates are below market.

Walk On By, Not worth the medical bills from the stress
nursing (Former Employee) –  Saint Petersburg, FLJuly 4, 2018
This place has gone to... There is always a new management staff. The leadership team are all cut-throat and it seems to be encouraged. You are not judge on your job performance, you're judged on rather you are in the inner circle. If you are not in the inner circle they make life dell (can't use that word) for you until you quit. They are unable to keep staff because they don't pay anything but they expect you to work long hours and always short staff. The C.N.A's need retraining on basic customer service. The place need someone with compassion AND strong leadership skills. NOT a tyrant trying to make a name for themselves.

Their were some staff members that had great personality and compassion but those were the ones that will be ran out the door.

Good company but needs to support and trust the employees that are dedicated and engaged with the vision and mission.
Executive Director (Former Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLFebruary 5, 2018
I had the pleasure of working with this Great Company, with a CEO who was very involved and COO who has a lot of experience as an administrator and gets what Administrator's need. The company recognizes their staff really well. You get a new name badge after one year that has years of service on it. Also a gift card celebrating your tenure. They work hard to let the staff know they are appreciated.
The downfall of the company is the local and corporate HR departments. Unfortunately, it is not the support system that I needed when it really counted. I needed them to stand behind me but instead, they treated me like the enemy. It was a very sad day when I left. I miss the company a lot.
I wish the company success and would work for them again, anytime. But I hope they work harder to believe their employees when they are telling the truth and stand behind them when they need them most.
Pros
Ceo, Coo, RDO's, Employee Recognition, Salary, Benefits, Residents!

LPN Charge Nurse (Current Employee) –  Ocala, FLJanuary 14, 2018
I love my residents and co-workers but management is almost nonexistent. There needs to be more staff on the floor supervision and assistance .The management needs more training and experience. The company itself does allow for growth and job enhancement if your management at your facility allows you access.
My residents keep me coming back.

lack of management abilities

Corporate customer care (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLSeptember 27, 2017
Poor management involvement and follow up
Supervisor will not involve employee to learn of all factual issues before making business decisions
This actual supervisor would not communicate with his staff or assist to learn new company policies or projects. He would expect you to study it indefinitely and learn it on your own. Any follow-up questions or clarifications that were needed would infuriate him
Pros
Highly involved CEO
Cons
The supervisor

This is a typical nursing home management company, greedy and always looking for ways to circumvent Medicare guidelines to increase their bottom line. Sketchy, but not illegal.
