Warehouse Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXApril 21, 2019
Long hours and no compensation. they are eager to work you to your last breath. Not enough hours in a day to do what needs to be done. They seemed more interested in getting rid of you than getting the job done. they are not organized at all. the old owners need to comeback and show them how to run a company.
Pros
insurance
Cons
long hours.

Not a good place at all
Clerk (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXMarch 18, 2019
Poorly run, dangerous environment, safety hazards around every corner. No ambition in management only concerned with maintaining their own jobs. Not concerned about the advancement of others or the safety and well being of the public they serve with the product that they put into our neighbor hood stores everyday.

Managment & CoWorkers are friendly
Order Selector/Loader (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXJanuary 5, 2019
Managment & CoWorkers are friendly, everyone is cooperative. Pay is great, & great opportunity to learn to operate new equipment. Demands may be a little high & they tend to overwork thier employees which result in them quitting or being terminated. Hours can REALLY stretch.
Pros
Lots of hours & plenty opportunity for overtime.
Cons
Highly competitive, extremely low job security, no work /life balance

Dock worker (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXNovember 7, 2018
The job was very fast paced, and the hours spent working were often long and arduous. This job was not those who want rest period after a truck is finished being unloaded, for to be able to leave at a reasonable time you continuously work while on the clock.

Management works to many hours
Warehouse Supervisor Grocers Supply (Current Employee) –  Houston, TXOctober 30, 2018
This could be a great company to work for if the Training wasn't rushed. You have poorly trained Selectors selecting product to ship and they are always behind schedule on a daily basis. Placing the Dock in bad situations daily on loading the Outbound trucks. The blame is always on the Shipping Dock. Shipping Supervisors work to many hours sometimes 15- 17 hour days 5 days a week. You are not given any overtime pay. Your contract says up to 50 hours per week. No incentives for Supervisors. Upper Management comes in at 7am and leaves at 3-4pm daily regardless of how the day is going. I don't know who is writing these other Reviews but this is a poorly Managed company.
Pros
Paid weekly
Cons
Poor Management, Supervisors work extremely long hours. Doesn't equal what they pay Supervisors.

Buying and payroll (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXOctober 27, 2018
Large company with a very big business. As pleasant as any warehouse. Not much room for advancement. Everyone worked very hard and much was expected of everyone. I worked there for many years. And have nothing else to say about the company
Pros
Pleasant enviornment. No perks

Hired Full Time But Zero Working Hours
Order Selector/Forklift Operator (Current Employee) –  Houston, TXAugust 1, 2018
I was hired on full time, went through training and started working my schedule. My hours were quickly cut back because they wanted to only have their experienced workers on the clock. I would get messaged daily that I didn't need to come in. Basically they'll hire you on full-time and then use you for on-call staffing.
Pros
climate controlled
Cons
no working hours

Full Case Selector, Order Selector, Loader (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXJuly 18, 2018
If youre trying to get back on your feet, its then this is the job for you. If you're single, definitely yes. If you have a family (especially a new one)then the answer is no. The only job Ive ever had that you knew your arrival time but never knew what time you'd leave. Longest shift i ever had was a 19 hr shift. 10 to 12 were the average longest on 2 or 3 days of the week
Pros
Benifits, weekly pay, incentive pay
Cons
