Senior Vice President / Product Management (Former Employee) – Denver, CO – June 27, 2018
When my bank, Home State Bank, was purchased by Guarantee Bank, most of my fellow senior managers were promptly asked to leave. I was able to stay on for about 16 months in order to oversee several conversion-related projects. Once those projects were completed, my position was eliminated. While Guaranty Bank gave me adequate autonomy to successfully complete those projects, I don't believe I was given a fair opportunity to integrate into the bank's senior leadership. Guaranty Bank has since been sold to another regional holding company.
Executive Vice President (Current Employee) – Denver, CO – May 2, 2018
Guaranty Bank is a very strong and well managed large community bank. The bank nearly went out of business during the great recession, but under new management it has grown into a strong and diversified company that will likely better withstand the next recession.
good management with acceptable home-woklife balance
may be too small to remain independent in the long run
Data Processing/Dispatch Clerk 11 (Former Employee) – Denver, CO – April 7, 2018
I was hired with no experience, none. The management and people there trained me and nurtured my abilities to eventually become the best at what I did there. Data entry, processing on an NDP1600, working the window with the couriers were great experiences for me. I was laid off after the work was outsourced.
VP-BSA Officer (Current Employee) – Denver, CO – August 11, 2017
I would rather not provide a review. I am in a unique position and do not work with external customers. I have enjoyed my time with the bank but I am looking to advance my career and that is not possible currently.
