12 hours was sometimes a long day when its summer outside. the 12 hour rotaing shifts are not the best of hours but you can do it.

Guardian has its pros and cons. the heat in summer was one of the hardest and the favoritism shown to some of the workers by some of the upper hands wasn't good. I did enjoy my work because knowing that I made good quality of product and our customer was happy was worth it all.

A typical day of work consist of watching computer monitors, maintaining temps of furnance, changing thickness of glass, maintaining the batch level in the batch house, doing quality control checks every 1 hour and 15 minutes, making sure glass cools at a certain temp

Little to no breaks for a 12 hour day, left on the line constantly with no relief.
Poor guidance and management, company will do anything to not give raises. Shifts are forever changing.
