This largely depends on what industry you come from. If you come from outside of healthcare, you will find many industries such as tech, financial services, and pharma you will find that healthcare providers pay less, but pay is just on factor of a job. That being said you would also find the culture of healthcare to be more cordial, more mission driven than in those industries. If you come from the healthcare space you would find that HCA is competitive.

I usually got like 21-30 hours of PTO days a year which is more than most companies. Again, HCA is an amazing place to work and had I not had to move or there was a facility near near me I would still be working for them.
