I would say two months would be the average wait time to be hired. During this process the applicant has to send in a resume, HR reviews this resumes, HR also decides if the applicant is right for the job. After this step usually there are two interviews. The first one is with the director. The second interview is a peer interview that is completed by the healthcare professionals. These are the steps that are explained start to finish.

Leverage your network and years of experience to get reccomended for the position you want, or go and meet with your potential director. HCA loves references. I serviced multiple HCA facilities for 4 years, which is how I met the reference for my position.
