Great managers and co-workers. Although stressful at times, I enjoyed working for the company.

A typical day at work was contacting insurance companies for payment on medical claims. Productivity and quality of work was the bases of the work. I learned medical terms and advanced customer service. Management had an open door policy, if you had a question, management was willing to answer immediately. Co-workers were great to work with. The was nothing hard about the job, however, productivity became stressful at times because numbers had to be met. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning new procedures.
No room for growth unless you transfer to a different department.
My experience with HCA as an intern was ok. I thought I'd be picked up for a full-time position after graduation but that didn't happen. Everyone else who works there seems to like the company well enough. I don't really have any complaints. The employees were nice and there was an overall positive atmosphere, other than the personal problems people had with one another.
