Medical office is understaffed and the amount of patients that are scheduled is ridiculous. This is a one way road to big mistakes being made. I wish HCA practiced what they preach that patients come first unfortunately money and budgets and numbers come first. The upper management is a complete joke who have no clue what they are doing. If you are looking to apply here I would RUN.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make HCA Healthcare a better place to work?
Stop the favoritism that some managers show to employees who think they know it all.
A great work environment where teamwork was the primary focus. HCA has endless technical support resources, that at times could be overwhelming and a challenge to navigate when faced with a work problem or obstacle.
What is the vacation policy like at HCA Healthcare? How many vacation days do you get per year?
PTO is decreasing. Getting more than a few days off at a time is a challenge to schedule.
Get rid of the 2% raise and care more about the employees. If you are not happy in your department, give that employee a chance to transfer. My manager told me she would not give me a good review because I had a PIP in process. If you are not happy in one department does not mean you will not be a great asset in another department. Some managers let their job go to their head and think they are above the other employees. I am probably going to loose my job because of my productivity and can not get a transfer to a different department because management thinks they are better than their co workers. I thought HCA wants their employees to succeed? It sure doesn’t look like it from perspective.
