There are other departments in the hospital ex:Food Service and Housekeeping .To some we may not be that important part of this hospital but we are.This hospital had some of the most unfriendliest staff including some of the Drs.
One thing I noticed in the medical imaging aspect is the outdated system for the patient order work list. I feel as though having printed out paper requisitions is not a standard in most facilities anymore. Computer based list, where you can view the patients chart, submitted orders, lab work and history would be most beneficial. Computer systems such as Cerner or Ris, in my opinion would expedite patient care more appropriately. Most places I have worked, as PRN and Full time are paper chart and requisition free.
Not to be so focused on one or two departments take interest in all department find out from employees in that department as to what is going on and keep confidential so employees want have retaliation from department heads.
