Stern yet humble environment
Managing Director (Former Employee) - New York, NY - August 16, 2022
Good place to start to get your feet wet and feel out what you’re capable of without any hesitation. Test the waters and drown yourself in the successful waters of Lake Minnetonka

The company was very organized and the management was encouraging to move up within the company. I would say the culture at this spot is more family-oriented.

Every day was a challenge! They started me on there jobs as a plumber apprentice but later discover that I knew controls and electric. The company had a job at a hotel and put me on that task right away. I ran that job completed it without any issues. Received a promotion to the Service Department. Finished my apprentice program and got my license from local 60. 5 year program

The hardest part of the job
Trainer (Former Employee) - Kents Store, VA - January 16, 2020
Making duct and putting it together Would probably be the hardest part of the job for me because I would have to deal with sheet-metal and making sure the measurements were on point

HVAC Technician (Current Employee) - Centennial, CO - January 13, 2020
Company that i work for gives me about 10-15 hours a week of labor.
I was learning from one employee until he quit because of the low amount of work.

For the last 4 1/2 years I’ve been working and dedicating my time in life to this company and I feel like I haven’t prospered because I get paid under the table so I don’t have any benefits any 401(k) and he paid vacations or any of the good things that a company can bring . I’m only getting older I need to start focusing on my future and getting ready for retirement

Installer/Service Technician (Former Employee) - Channelview, TX - August 18, 2019
I enjoyed my time working for the Bishop/Mr. Stuart. I was able to finish my HVAC training and go right to work in my field. I was able to learn on the job training from the Bishop. I was able to obtain more 1st hand knowledge and learned faster then at a larger company. I work on the weekend from time to time.
Pros
Kind Owner, helpful
Cons
Small company, No overtime

Great Small Company
Technician (Former Employee) - Columbia, SC - June 11, 2019
Long days with satisfying work. Fast paced and constant challenge. Early rise and late to home depending on season and weather.
Weather dependent. Meaning if the heat/cold is bad, business is good. If it is mild, not so good. Also susceptible to economic swings.
