Not a bad working experience
At Habitat for Humanity, I've learned basic pricing, stocking and organizing inventory. I've also worked with the customers excellently there. Overall, it is a good working experience.

Working for a non profit like Habitat for Humanity was such an amazing opportunity. I worked in the Restore so it was as physical as it was it was rewarding. The staff who worked in the office are amazing and helpful-not the type to stray from lending a hand in the store if needed and always sincere in asking how the day is going. Restore management is helpful and organized and fun to work with. The team of management, associates, and volunteers have built an amazing culture of generosity thats makes any difficult task easily accomplished with fantastic communication and a family like atmosphere. I admit is tough work but not the type of job where you watch the clock waiting for your day to end. It is always bustling and before you know it the day is done. This was a great opportunity for life knowing and seeing who it was helping in the end. I see why people circle back to help or volunteer in the future.

I enjoy my job. It’s a new challenge every day. It’s a wonderful company I work for starting with management on up. Plus you learn it is a real nonprofit with a great mission.

Good place for people with no family to take care of. Work can be rough, some days it chill. Employee discounts are generous. Lots of useful home items, tools and furniture.
