At Habitat for Humanity, I've learned basic pricing, stocking and organizing inventory. I've also worked with the customers excellently there. Overall, it is a good working experience.

I had a really great impression of this organization from my first phone interview, and that opinion hasn't changed. The management team really cares both about their employees' happiness in their roles as well as making sure they have the tools and resources needed to complete their jobs thoroughly and efficiently. This is a really healthy work environment. As someone who's been in jobs with poor management before, I really appreciate how supportive the management team and coworkers are here. Everyone is extremely motivated by the work that we do and the fact that our jobs help people in collier county community. There is a lot of work to be done, which is good because it keeps you busy and occupied. Management is also very understanding and is happy to revisit the priority order of tasks so that you're able to complete things in a reasonable amount of time.I had no prior field experience in construction. During this experience I gained a lot of skills and knowledge. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to gain knowledge in construction.Overall, I was very happy in my role and with the organization. I think that this is a great place to work.

Habitats overall mission is such an amazing thing to be apart of. It's not just a job, it's a family. A family helping families. We house families and people in need. The location I'm at has lots of veterans and elderly people that are no longer struggling with homelessness thanks to habitat for humanity.
