Send in a resume to hiring dept thru the mail
Same here I applied even know a teacher there nothing!
It's extremely difficult to even get an interview. You don't get a chance to even show them your potential. I actually work there for private practice but would like to transfer and it's not easy at all. Mind you I was an employee of the hospital for 10 years prior.
I also agree, I have been applying to HUMC for many years and have stopped by their human resource department as well. The front desk person at that time put her hand up and told me they were paperless when she saw me with my resume' in my hand... I was at that hospital for many, many, days with my late husband who suffered and died from a rare cancer. It's sad how you cannot even get an interview to show that you really could be the right person for the job. I will continue to keep trying and have faith.
The hiring process was pretty easy. The head of the nutrition department interviewed me and was very impressed with my resume that she took care of everything and got me hired immediately.
