Typically the process involves a written application, then a formal interview by a store manager and/or Assistant Manager. The interview focuses on your background, skills, interests, and availability. Some managers may test your skills at things like alphabetization and ability to do simple math in your head, as these are key skills when it comes to shelving and buying merchandise.
