Flexible. You usually get the days you request off. HOWEVER, because of how flexible this job can be, people take advantage of it and you will be asked multiple times a month to take an extra shift to cover because someone didn’t give enough notice and the schedule was already made. I don’t blame them entirely though because schedules are sometimes made for two weeks in advance or three without warning. So sometimes two weeks warning for a request off isn’t enough.

Each store we service has a say on how long they would like their merchandiser to visit and then we divide the hours up as necessary to get all of our work completed per week that and which day you need to visit your store that suits them.
