You answered call after call after call all day long. You are working for the HOA, but mostly dealt with unhappy, very unhappy homeowners.

When you consider customer service working for the customer, then this is NOT customer service. The HOA boards are full of people that have retired from supervisory positions, and still want to control something - more ... other than their life. They can be very anti-homeowners, and you have to send out fine notifications for some of the silliest reasons, i.e. you have 1 more plant than allowed on your balcony.
