Decent pay and benefits. Must have a passion for working with the mentally challenged individuals and adaptable to constant high turn over of staff.

If you want to get beat up on a daily basis then work here. They pay you penny’s to get abuse. They do not care about their employees, only the patients. Save your time and worth. You want to work 16 hrs constantly and have no choice, work here. You will find out and the last min of your shift you have to stay 4 more hours. So if your a parent, run.

Ratios are terrible. There is not enough staff on the floor to keep people safe. Period. Everything they teach in orientation is a lie.. There are not enough staff members scheduled to help anyone. You will be constantly upsetting patients because you do not have time to attend to even basic hygiene needs.. You will not have time to sit and talk to a patient or provide ANY one on one assistance. If you have any empathy for other humans, this is not the place for you.
