Great coworkers. Top management can be a bit annoying especially some of the older folks but I did Enjoy my work. Benefits ain't bad but if you ain't management your pay aint going to be anything special. You can ask to move up in position especially if you've worked full time for at least 6 months.

Free lunches if you received a 100 on the mystery guest.

This ain't meant to be a 30 career job. it can be tough on the body.

only good if you have a good manager

working at harris teeter was only worth it if you had a good manager. otherwise, they let the customers absolutely walk all over the employees, corporate cares more about customers more than the employees.

Excellent Team Environment

This was an awesome company to work for. It is a great first time job experience. The managers were very understanding when I needed to take time off. I would recommend this job to any teenager.

Great job for a student or teenager, not great for a career.

Great flexibility in scheduling and great job security, but low pay for full time employees; I only made a little over $10 an hour despite working early mornings.

Mildly better than regular retail pharmacy

Pretty much the same metrics and staffing issues as regular retail pharmacy. Volume was much lower but then there were expectations to do MTMs and point of care testing and vaccines beyond the regular few done in retail. Salary was significantly lower than standard and staff pharmacists were expected to be on call 3 times a month and often would be called to cover shifts on other days off. Would not recommend.

good pay but mind numbing work

Regardless of whether you are a cashier or a bagger or work in a home shop, everything you do goes by so slowly. money is good though and bonus pay on Sundays is really nice.

Great for young people like me

Working at HT teach you interpersonal skills whether you like it or not. If you're someone who's afraid to speak up, you'll learn to do it here out of sheer necessity to learn. Not that they don't train you well, but there's so many little things and tricks to be as efficient as possible.

Do not work here

Do not work here unless you don’t mind to deal with drama. Everyone at the customer service desk is a clique and of you are not a part of it, they will treat you ridiculously. They don’t pay enough to be acting the way they do. They want you to bust your tail until you can’t but when you need help from them, they are a bunch of lazy people. They talk to you any kind of way and show favoritism. Management is not where it needs to be. They need to do better. Do not work here !!!!!!

Its an alright place to work

It was an alright place to work. Managment was nice for the most part. I worked there long enough to have seen a few store managers transfer in and out to and from diffrent locations. So how good managment is can depend on who the store manager is. Most of them are nice though, and all the assistant and department managers are pretty chill.

Nothing much really.

Depending on who your store manager is things can become kinda hard.

Nothing worth wasting your time on

The managers at the Charlotte store on 6th street are horrible at communicating and expect employees to have no lives. It’s not worth the energy and you don’t get payed enough for it. Have been working there for almost a year and after a raise on make 9.85

Mundane and too much work/personal life cross over

Too often I felt like working here was like being back in high school, everyone knew everything and gossiped constantly. Overall a very boring job and wouldn’t necessarily recommend to people.

Discounted Groceries

A children’s playground

If you are an adult, and you’re not in management or higher positions, do not apply here. Your hours are limited, especially under a full house. You are heavily managed and will more than likely work for children in school. Second hand babysitting if you will.

Short breaks, benefits, hours

terrible work enviroment

you’ll get along w all of your coworkers, but to customer service and management, you’re a big under their shoe, they don’t care ab your personal life or any reason you can’t work, everything you do is wrong and bad and they f*** you with no lube

Fun place to work

Great place to work, I enjoyed going in every day management and employees are always pleasant to be around. Employees are always trying to do what is best for the customer

Easy but mentally draining

Overall, it is an easy job and the pay makes sense for the work but the enviornment can be drama filled making it difficult some days. Also not enough workers so some days are very busy with not enough help

Great benefits, decent pay

Overworked & underappreciated

I do not recommend working for this company. I've been here a couple years and they badly take advantage of their employees.Don't get me wrong there are some perks, such as quarterly bonuses, and some flexibility with the schedule. The department managers are usually decent, but they seem to have very little power over their own departments and tend to get overruled by the store managers who seem to not have any real training in or understanding of work preformed by their employees.Worse yet health code for prepared foods is usually disregarded, and mainly only gets followed when there is an inspection. Even then, very few employees seem to get actual training in food safety and managers hardly ever enforce food safety protocols. To top it all of the work environment is toxic, employees are constantly over worked, and expected to work multiple positions at once. There is frequent infighting, often times publicly.

Flexible schedules, quarterly bonus, multiple breaks, LGBT friendly

Toxic work

Good pay

Great pay a lot of hours a lot of work very short-staffed management doesn't seem to want to help very often. And you like working with people and want to make good pay this is a great place to work

easy can be stressful

can be a lot to keep up with getting carts especially when there is nobody helping you. They do a good job of giving employees breaks. Overall , not too bad.

Stressful and physically demanding

The management was not good and did little to show any empathy for regular workers. Coworkers were sweet. I would not recommend this job to anyone. None of the people working there are happy.

Great money, healthcare is expensive, Bonuses are based on your scorecard.

Very very stressful place to work. Zero work to life balance. Cannot escape management texting you on days off or while you are on vacation. The stress and anxiety Are constant. Virtually impossible to get vacation time off. There’s no one to cover you while you’re gone.
