It's private Ambulance
Their not the worst other places pay better but no one else in the state private wise has power stair chairs so that's nice. They are pretty flexible with schedules and the lady who does the schedule is wonderful and willing to find you what you need to help you out.

Worst job ever
You will get held over hours everyday. pay is okay but never expect a fair raise. Management has no idea what they are going, some don't even know the difference between an EMT-B and Medic. would recommend going anywhere else but here.

Avoid at all costs
I began sending resumes out looking for another job after my second day working here. There was a very toxic culture in this office. Staff was to email each other, rather than talk to each other, if they had questions. This included new staff when trying to learn procedures. The billing practices were questionable and can be googled to find some of the issues that have been uncovered. One of the most bizarre things I experienced there was how the “managers” would call individuals out if they left water drops in the break room sink. The expectation was that the sink was to be thoroughly dried with paper towels after each time it was used. Add to the absurdity, everyone in the office was expected to arrive by 7:30 am and wait until precisely 7:30 to clock in all at once. Then at precisely 4:30 pm, all clock out and leave together, whether your work was complete or not. Both managers were condescending and degrading in the way they spoke to the staff. They expected staff to take turns cleaning the office, rather than pay for a cleaning service. Pay wasn’t great and insurance wasn’t affordable. Not a dream job, by any means. Absolute worst place I have ever worked (and I have cleaned public toilets — would 100% do that before ever working for H2H regardless of what they paid)

Overall a decent place, management are bullies
I worked for this company for about 9 months. The pay is fair but sometimes they ask you to do things that are dangerous for your health. The management team is very passive aggressive and does not lead very well. The company's corporate structure is a hot mess and I do not see this company getting better anytime soon. Pay is reasonable but the benefits are non-existent. Overall a decent but depressing environment to work in and if you value your mental health I would advise you to go somewhere else after a certain amount of time. People are good especially the ones on the road but the dispatchers are constantly grumpy.
