Harvest Strategy Group is a small company that is consistently growing from year to year. Typical days are the bread and butter 8-5pm Monday through Friday. Some positions occasionally require overtime. Compliance Department Management was beyond fantastic. Other department management is competent and responsive. Workplace culture can be a bit clique-ish, but a reasonable person should find little issues with co-workers. Company does try to create quality work-life balance and does work with you when family issues arise.

I enjoy working for the company and much of management at the executive level, but my manager does not keep his promises and the employees are in cliques.

A company that could do far better with improvement in communication

I took the Affidavit Liaison position with Harvest Strategy Group a bit reluctantly. My boss had told me at my previous position (at Dept. of Labor) that they would likely be cutting my hours and that they were also considering ending the position itself entirely. I was in need of an assignment quick. I accepted the position knowing that it required a front desk duties as well as creating and printing many affidavits. The issue I ran into pretty early on is that not only were there issues with interoffice communication and deadlines. There was also inconsistency with training and no one agreed on how to process the affidavits. The person who was meant to relieve me on the heavier days was rarely in the office and constantly changing, leading to training and efficiency issues. Overall I found the experience rather unprofessional and overly aggressive.
