It's a construction job, hard manual labor is to be expected. If that's not something you feel like you would be comfortable doing then don't get a job here. If you are alright doing that sort of thing then I see no reason not to pick Haskell. The management is superb (friendly and they know what they're doing), the average coworker is friendly and - more... agreeable, and the pay is fair.
