Traveling Phlebotomist & Wellness Coach (Current Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIJune 26, 2018
I love working for Healics. It is very flexible, fast paced, and exciting with all the traveling. Great place to work. I would recommend working at Healics if you like to travel and make decent money doing so.

fun and relaxed place to work
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIApril 30, 2018
The ins and outs of the day to day tasks were constantly changing. It was never entirely monotonous and new tasks that had to be attacked were constantly popping up. It was enjoyable and definitely not for someone who needed 100% structure.

Positive Atmosphere with Great Challenges & Projects
Communications Specialist (Current Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIApril 19, 2018
Working at Healics has given me many opportunities to challenge myself, work independently and in a collaborative group. The reason I love working at Healics is the people within the company are positive, provide constructive feedback, and have continued to push me strive for excellence.
There are many flexibilities to the job such as working remotely, paid time off, and other benefits. The structure of the company does allow for internal growth and since the recent merger with Interra there has been restructuring that has developed the flow of the processes in many positive ways.
I would definitely recommend working at Healics because there is a variety of positions, as well as countless learning opportunities. This company is a great place for people who strive to be the best that they can.
Pros
Benefits, positive atmosphere, weekly walks as a team, top technology.

Health Coack (Current Employee) –  Milwaukee County, WIMarch 13, 2018
Pros
Travel
Doing what I love!
Management is great
Starting pay is competitive

Cons
Given full time job, but the hours are not there...so not really working full time.
Too many loopholes for benefits, so am not able have them.
VERY few reviews and VERY little pay raises.
Pressure to work crazy hours which is not great for family life. Late nights with early mornings.
When driving long distances or flying only $75 travel...no matter how long it takes to get there.
When traveling and using a company vehicle you are expected to drive into the office to leave your personal vehicle or a car rental location. You are not paid for this time or mileage.
Occasionally expected to do things unpaid. Computer maintenance (eg. had to take computer to the office which is 40-45 minutes away and sit there for an hour and a half for general maintenance. This took half a day with driving and waiting!), post office visits, responding to emails, etc.
Internal job advancements not offered to current employees
Only $20 for meals per day when out of town.

Great team to work with!
Office (Current Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIFebruary 22, 2018
I love working at Healics! I work with a great team and the environment is very collaborative. Our merger with Interra Health has added a new amount of energy to our environment. I enjoy coming to work each day.

Phlebotomist/Mobile health and wellness screener (Current Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIJanuary 26, 2018
very busy and fast paced.
The office staff and management are very poor.
You travel a lot and are away from home often.
you are not asked if you are available for travel.
It is expected of you and if something comes up prohibiting you from traveling you are shunned.

Flexible and Fun place to work for
Traveling Phlebotomist/Examiner (Former Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIOctober 2, 2017
Very early start times. A lot of traveling from company to company and state to state. A lot of diversity and meeting new people on a daily basis. Enjoy traveling to different states and seeing parts of the United States that you probably would not go to. Management is very understanding and fun to work with. The most enjoyable part of the jb is the early hours and traveling to places where you can have fun.

Low stress, great management, but no room for growth
WI. Health Coach (Current Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIAugust 7, 2017
Very low stress and for the most part management is great and effective. However, there is no room for advancement. Reviews are not done on a timely schedule and very little pay raise. Work life balance is encouraged, but you are constantly being asked and feel pressure to work outside of normal business hours. Occasionally will have a very late night with a very early start time the next morning. You are also expected to monitor emails and calls when outside of your work hours even if on an approved vacation.
Pros
relaxed environment, nice management
Cons
hours, no room for advancement, work is always taken home

Work availability based on timing of client participation. Health Risk Assessments help client-sponsored employees to "know their numbers". This aids each person in making positive health choices for their lives.

Wonderful company to work for
Administrative Assistant/Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIMay 4, 2016
Being a part of the Wellness Industry was very rewarding. However, there was a tremendous amount of nepotism. Not a lot of options for advancement or flexibility in scheduling. The best part was welcoming participants into the facility for health assessments and working closely with the medical staff. Great atmosphere in a modern building.
Pros
Close to home and great co-workers
Cons
Non-sensical decision making

Professional, personable staff; employee oriented
Certified Wellness Practitioner and Coach (Current Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIDecember 21, 2015
A typical day at work for us coaches is to coach clients to healthier lifestyles for prevention of chronic illnesses. Management is very employee oriented, and management are very personable staff. Co-workers are very personable, also. The hardest part of the job is waking up before 4 a.m. to be at a job site that starts before 6 a.m. The most enjoyable part of the job are meeting new people and getting to know them.
Pros
Competitive compensation, being compensated mileage only over 75 miles.
Cons
Traveling distances greater than 50 miles one way to a client's facility
