All about the money
Program Director (Former Employee) –  Green Bay, WIMay 18, 2018
Not the best place to work if you are actually looking to support patient care, as you will be drilled to constantly get people into HBO therapy so the company can make money, even if they don’t really need it. This is also very much a sales job, with very demanding expectations around how many “education calls” that you need to make in order to meet your goals. Not enough support from the company to help you learn the in/outs of wound care, and they seem to have a constant turn over in leadership staff due to the lack of support that they offer to you.
Pros
Compensation Package
Cons
No work/life balance, No support from leadership

One of the WORST Companies to Work For
Manager (Current Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLMay 17, 2018
Healogic's has no interest in their employees. They are only focused on their wound care clients and even then it is questionable. They claim to be the Nations #1 wound care company, but it is definitely a farce. Management is just horrible and they have no direction, nor do they train their employees. They bring you on with smiles and promises and offer no training, no guidance and no process. They have managers working in their CBO that are not even from Jacksonville but come from another state. These managers can go home to their state and work, and basically come and go as they please. The employees see this and say nothing for fear of losing their jobs. It's all smiles in the beginning, but work there a year or two and you'll see a big change. The TURNAROUND is terrible. The processes are next to none, especially in the A/R and Insurance enrollment departments. The benefits are even more horrible with deductibles out the roof for single and families. Two words for this company - Watch Out. They need to get rid of their managers and start speaking with their employees to really know what is going on.
Pros
lower employees work overly hard
Cons
managers and higher, no processes in place

Healogics cares about the mission and vision. The company is consistently working towards improving company culture and listens to employees. Healogics has provided many growth opportunities and invests in training/resources for each employee.

Worst company ever -
Management (Current Employee) –  FloridaApril 13, 2018
It is not what you know but who you know. Watch your back with the regional people - they are liars and unethical. They put people in the chamber that shouldn't go in so they can bill the hospital. If you are not in their circle, they will eliminate you. They cover for each other and tell hospitals lies to get them to sign a contract. Unless you are one of the originals and go along with the fraud, the culture is terrible.

It's a friendly environment. The management team issued clear cut and concise expectations and follow up by assuring you have the tools, information and encouragement to accomplish them.

Program Director (Current Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLMarch 28, 2018
Enjoy managing at center level and continued peer learning from within corporate structure. Enjoy marketing to multiple physician practices as well as within hospital structure. Management of staff can be somewhat complex dependent upon whom employees them - hospital partner or corporate office.
Pros
Autonomy of Schedule
Cons
Reporting to different entities

Let Down
Front Office Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Ithaca, NYFebruary 22, 2018
Good leaders will inspire their employees's, not at this place. The culture is not a good value, for employee's or patient's. Lots of violations within the company to the point if the state can come in and they would close shop.
Pros
Free reps luncheons, great benefits, pay is good
Cons
Backstabbing, deceitful, short breaks, work your fingers to the bone

Office Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Tucson, AZFebruary 19, 2018
Very busy, fast paced clinic. Dealing with multiple physicians. Charge entry and batch review daily.
Management is present sporadically.
Workplace culture is horrible, depending on mood of clinical staff.
Hardest part of job is the total disregard from hospital management and staff.
Most enjoyable part of the job is seeing the patient heal and able to live their life wound and pain free.
Pros
decent pay
Cons
contractual therefore they give the impression that they do not care about their employees

Not a ton of advancement without relocation, but the company and individuals involved are very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of opportunity for professional growth within the current position though.

Tedious and negative environment
Front Office Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Sparks, NVFebruary 14, 2018
A typical day at work was clerical duties and insurance work as well as patient communications.
I learned a lot about the medical field and insurance authorizations.
The management was always changing and staff was never consistent.
The workplace culture was divided between the clinical staff and the business staff and the clientele we catered to was poor, non compliant, violent, and angry.
The hardest part of the job was the lack of acknowledgment for accomplishments and the lack of compensation and growth opportunities.
The most enjoyable part of my job used to be the team of people I worked with before management changed.
I decided to leave because I felt easily replaceable and under appreciated.
Pros
Weekends off

Understaffed

Great Place if you have a good AVP
Program Director (Former Employee) –  Centerville, OHFebruary 4, 2018
Worked in two zones. One zone amazing SVP and AVP. Difficult hospital contract but with right attitude and grit you can really help people. Second zone never met SVP, AVP was gross, micro-managed, and thought they were an all-star had very poor emotional intelligence and was not professional around females.
Pros

Safety Director/ Certified Hyperbaric Technician (Current Employee) –  Peoria, ILJanuary 17, 2018
I have been with this company for over 7 plus years. I have applied for advancement in the company 7 times. EVERYTIME being passed up by someone who is not an employee of the company and has less experience. This company has grown too fast for its own shoes and is forgetting the sole purpose of those that started this company. The company is trying to sell more contracts and burning the bridges with the contracts that they have. They have lost more contracts from hospitals in the last two years because their greediness.
Pros
Experience
Cons
Lack of respect
