The policies and procedures seemed to change on a monthly basis. The constant back to back phone calls with, 50% of the time requesting healthcare staffers and doctors who were very disrespectful and noncompliant when it came to answering precertification questions. Mix that up with the fact that the phone auditors would find any small thing to hold against you for doing or not doing on a pre-cert call. The job is production based and its basically like a call center. This job is definitely not for everyone.

Strict and rigorous expectations with little breathing room. Mangers play favorites and if you are not a favorite, you are treated poorly. Cliques much like high school. Managers out for themselves and will throw employees right under the bus in order to move up the ladder.
