Management needs to stop selecting favorites.
Enrollment Coach (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZ 85040January 1, 2019
Management needs to stop selecting favorites and look at the real contributions of its employees and not an excel spreadsheet. The company is great it is individuals that have poisoned the experience.

Manager (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTOctober 25, 2018
They are not what they say they are. Communication is lacking and a lot of back stabbing. Great values if anyone in leadership actually followed them. Business Model is shaky at best.

Over Promise...Under Deliver
Success Coach (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZOctober 9, 2018
When I was first hired the company had a family feel. The morale was wonderful. Once the company did mass layoffs that's when the morale went down. The company over promises on numbers and under delivers every time. The company also refuses to create a training department and there is no training provided. I received four days of training and then was put on the phones. The company's technology is a joke and it has nothing to do with the IT department. There are not enough people in the IT department. I would not recommend working for this company.
Pros
Free snacks and drinks, sometimes extra days off during holidays
Cons
No training, poor leadership, varying salaries for the same position, and many more

Not the most amazing place to work (at least a few years ago)
Direct Mail Media Planner (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTSeptember 12, 2018
Too much instability, not enough understanding of where the company is actually going and how it's going to get there. Found out after the fact from a board member that communication between board and CEO had all but ceased.
Pros
Nice work environment, fun
Cons
No stability, many layoffs

Enrollment Specialist (Former Employee) –  UtahApril 8, 2018
These guys play games and are not truthful. Stay away. Promise all kinds of things and fall short. Poor communication and office politics at every turn. Not a fun place to work. Leadership is only focused on making as much money off student enrollment %'s for their clients as they can. Sad reality and a company losing direction, not willing to grow ethically or with the success of their own employees.

Some great, but very few
Marketing (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTNovember 21, 2017
I really loved my team, we were incredibly smart and gelled well--felt like a family. Even our Exec Director was a great person who wanted the absolute best for us. Then things went downhill fast. Management did their third "restructuring" of the year and 40+ people were let go. Then they slowly picked the rest of us off, one by one. Nothing is stable in this place.

Cool Company
Intern (Former Employee) –  Salt Lake City, UTOctober 31, 2017
Helix is a cool company- it has a little too much drama for most to handle but if you're there to get your job done and don't get involved for the most part it's good.

Customer Service (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZOctober 6, 2016
A very open culture that looks to get everyone involved in solutions each day. I've learned a lot of leadership skills through participation during my time working here. Managers and VP's doors are always open and ready to help. I like the teamwork. The work pace is consistent but some days can be very busy and the day goes by quickly. There is a strong focus on technology updates and employee development.
Pros
Managers and peers. Fun environment --- lots of participation opportunities
Cons
Lots of activities that include food --- too much food around the office.

Enrollment used to be part of UOP - IPD so they are very similar to University of Phoenix - a lot of the same high pressure sales techniques and focus on numbers/conversion
