Appreciative employer and co-workers
Working in this institution is such a great honor and opportunity. Every waking morning i look forward to coming to work and learn new things. My employer and coworkers are all very approachable and easy to work with. They are very appreciative of the things us workers do - big or small. I’ve already learned so much in such a short period of time. The working environment is very light and positive though very formal and follows strict protocols which i think is normal considering our line of work that is dealing with participants needs. The best thing in this job is the learning experience. The feeling of not working at all because you love what you do and that is the most important thing.

I'll just outline how Helping Hands for Better Living ADHC/CBAS got my 5 stars in everything down to the five most significant things you can learn from working here.1. Every employee has confidence in the healthcare service.2. Excellent management from administrator down to program aid.3. Building Team Spirit among Employees4. Clean and Healthy Space5. Everyone is interacting at work (Sometimes I felt everyone, like a family, was merely delegating tasks to each other with no order or command.)I finished RN school in August and still want to work here. Because this organization fills me with love and care while also enabling everyone to express themselves creatively :)

A typical day at work at Helping Hands for Better Living includes taking the time to provide quality person-centered adult day health care (ADHC) and community-based adult services (CBAS) for our participants.Helping Hands for Better Living is made up of a team of professionals, including medical practitioners, social workers, educators, dietitians, and overall advocates for those with special needs. Helping Hands for Better Living is supportive of individual needs and goals which is reflective in the workplace culture. I've learned so much from working here, especially the importance of communicating and collaborating with caregivers who entrust us with their loved ones each day. The most enjoyable part of the job is sharing the passion and commitment to the company's mission of providing quality occupational/physical therapies, enriching experiences, and educational programming for our participants.I highly recommend working for Helping Hands for Better Living!
