Working in this institution is such a great honor and opportunity. Every waking morning i look forward to coming to work and learn new things. My employer and coworkers are all very approachable and easy to work with. They are very appreciative of the things us workers do - big or small. I’ve already learned so much in such a short period of time. The working environment is very light and positive though very formal and follows strict protocols which i think is normal considering our line of work that is dealing with participants needs. The best thing in this job is the learning experience. The feeling of not working at all because you love what you do and that is the most important thing.

A typical day at work at Helping Hands for Better Living includes taking the time to provide quality person-centered adult day health care (ADHC) and community-based adult services (CBAS) for our participants.Helping Hands for Better Living is made up of a team of professionals, including medical practitioners, social workers, educators, dietitians, and overall advocates for those with special needs. Helping Hands for Better Living is supportive of individual needs and goals which is reflective in the workplace culture. I've learned so much from working here, especially the importance of communicating and collaborating with caregivers who entrust us with their loved ones each day.
