I found another job because my manager created a hostile environment by holding "team meetings" without the newest hire (me). Not only did this become an opportunity for everyone to nit pick about every single detail of "the new girl," but also made "the new girl" very much feel NOT a part of their team. It went from nit-picking, to micromanaging, to bullying in less than a year. I had to find a new job because this atmosphere affected my mental and physical health. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have filed an official complaint with HR, but at the time, I just wanted OUT!
I interviewed directly with the Vice President who hired me. We first had an 80 minute telephone interview, then an 80 minute on-site interview. I was hired at the end of the on-site interview.
They were very strict, 8 to 430, with absolutely no flexibility in the department I was in. We even had people with family situations, that asked to flex their schedule by 30 minutes, and were told no, so they were forced to resign. The manager didn't seem to care.
How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Henry Ford Health System? What are the steps along the way?
The process for me was a month. I received a invitation for a interview December 5, 2018 that was on the 10th received a offer on the 14. My actual start date was 1-14-19
