Well…
Its not a bad job to have but don’t expect any recognition for taking on extra work or just for doing your job well. Benefits are good but the hourly rates aren’t what they should be.

Don’t work for Heritage Family Credit Union.
As a former employee. Please take what I am about saying into consideration before you make this life changing decision. If you like your sanity then I would recommend you never work for Heritage Family Credit Union. During a best of the best survey that was conducted at the end of 2020. It showed that alittle over 80% of the staff took the survey. Out of those people who took it. Alittle over 50% said they don’t feel comfortable speaking up without the fear of consequences. Other parts of that survey said that Senior management needs to be more compassionate and show empathy for their employees. From full experience I can tell you that this will never happen. The Senior managers don’t care about you. They only care about themselves. So please beware. If you’re thinking of applying just know your applying to be apart of a toxic work environment and you probably gonna quit in a month anyways. Most drop like flies and it’s sad.

I love working here, members are great, coworkers & managers amazing. Pay is good. Room for growth. Lots of opportunities to learn and grow. Flexible hours within reason

Loved the members a terrible place to work
I worked for hfcu for several years at multiple branches. Not enough compensation, managers didn't care about you as a person. No career advancement. I had been told by several managers to apply for other positions due to my aptitude, never even received an interview. Very catty environment, all about who you know not how talented you are. My immediate manager also held a medical condition against me during a review and would deny me taking time off for doctors appointments after they had been approved. I never felt valued or appreciated the 3 years I worked there. I also had to have a part time job to support myself since the pay at hfcu was so bad. I also never knew where I would be working. I would show up at my regular branch just to be sent to work at another location, which is very hard when you have a family to plan around.

Great Place
Loved working there and the CEO was super sweet and caring! I would go back if i could! I appreciated everyone and everyday was a new adventure with the members
