Departments are silos. Management preaches about collaboration and teamwork across IT, but often plans and operates in secret without employee feedback. HVHS is restructuring its IT and is currently big on outsourcing most of its IT, the internal staff, get by, but not having internal ownership often makes it difficult to resolve issues long term. IT here is reactionary, not proactive in operation.
