Hertz is challenging and keeps you very busy and pays well with alot of opportunities for advancement I was promoted within 14 months to branch manager and salary. The work load is intense and you do work from home on days off and typically work 10 or more hours it is not a 9 to 5 job just FYI but the bonuses and pay once management is great on the other side Hertz can be tough and they company/all level of management will push limits and if you can't produce they are quick to let managers go.

At the branch level it is hit or miss. The branch I worked at had fantastic workplace synergy and we all got along real well. Above that they could care less about you, as long as you hit their unreasonably high net promoter scores, where people will rate you zero's across the board for very petty things that are almost always out of your control.

Depends where. I work at Hicksville, Long Island and they pay either per mile or per hour, which ever is higher. 95% of the time, the miles is higher so we get paid by that. Minimum wage over here is $12, so per day it’s about $84 if we get paid by hour and about $100 if we get paid per mile. This is for 7hrs a day and is an estimate, exact pay can vary based on many factors.

In Newark NJ, for car cleaner, it's weekly.

For manager training you need an associate's degree.

10-20. I lost money when I took a day off bc I lost out on OT, which is a part of your schedule. Because of that, unless I took the entire week off, I would not take time off. I couldn't afford it.
