had a very high turn over rate. i loved working with the residents and the Rn's.however all of the office staff cared more about making money then the care of the residents and staff. we where low staffed most of the time so you had to work a hall by your self.
Run! Even tho CNAs are the backbone of the facility you will never be appreciated. They thank you when you cover a shift but as soon as they go home they forget that you helped. You never know which dept head will make you wish you didnt work there. Charge nurses do what they want and treat you like you're stupid.
I was a CNA threw Kansas and enjoyed my job at Highland Healthcare and Rehab. I got to meet patients that would make me smile on a daily basis, even on my worst days these patients sure knew how to make me smile.
