Great peers who support each other in client work. DC is full of talented people who make meaningful contributions. Work load varies but generally manageable.

Divisive Internal Politics Interfere With Doing Great Work
Executive (Former Employee) –  United StatesJuly 26, 2017
Silly internal politics and favoritism abound at this agency. This agency has a high turnover at the VP-level and above. Empire building is more important than doing great, innovative work.

SENIOR ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR (Former Employee) –  New York, NYFebruary 24, 2015
Virtually no visible hierarchy. Good ideas and good work are accepted and recognized no matter what level they come from.

Project or account teams cross practices, offices and international borders - it was never boring.

Work follows talent and, despite the easy-going culture, it's no place for slackers - clients and the company have high expectations and, given the stakes at times, there is little if any margin for error.
Pros
Some of the smartest people I've ever known, flexible scheduling, first-name basis from the CEO to the mailroom.
Cons
Difficult to advance, which leads to high turnover.
