Hill Country was a good place to learn the basics of management
Written by Director and NP-ER (Former Employee) from Fredericksburg, TX on March 18, 2018
A typical day as an ER Director started with morning huddles with staff. The director position involved multiple meetings with admin. and other directors. In between multiple meetings; charts and graphs and operational daily reports involving Press Ganey changes, percentage of LWOTS, and detailed summary of correction plans to remedy the above mentioned - more... were required and presented to CNO in another meeting. Also required during the work day was working in the ER as an extra provider and to cover any shifts needing covered. - less
ConsToo many meetings, unrealistic expectations
