The staff is amazing. Most nurses will not mind helping the techs when they have time. Very family oriented work place. They have a recharge room on every floor that you can go to and sit in massage chair when you feel overloaded. Overall great place to work.
When I first started my interview was great I love my boss I had good coworkers we all work together everybody thought teamwork was the best I should’ve stayed up on the floors and worked with them instead of moving to outpatient surgery that’s what ruined my job the new boss came in and got rid of most of the employees. Brought her own from the other hospital.
Was good at first until a unqualified uncaring director took over, went downhill from there, otherwise initially was tolerable. Went back as a patient after I had worked there, and it was horrible, they overwork the nurses, and you have to watch your back, best advice: be careful of management , they’re not your friends.
It was alright working there, however in my position, advancement became an impossibility after I had given them years of my time. Compensation is barely competitive and doesn't increase with inflation well enough to meet the standard of living. I feel that their hope is to keep people in position as long as possible with a few increases in wages as is possible without losing too much manpower. They did tolerate an overwhelming amount of staff abuse from customers, managment did little tk ever help with that issue.
The hospital pay is not worth risking your life when fast food worker gets paid more and you don’t have to work with really sick people. You will have 12-15 patients to one.
