The working hours are long, of course, but the earliest you have to be there is 10:30am and the restaurant closes at 11pm, so it's not like a bar that stays open until 4am. However, they are long hours that usually fly by and then you realize how drained you are.

The shifts sound appealing but you never leave when it ends due to side work or whatever else work they can have you do to benefit them.

Schedules are permanent weekly, and shifts are hard to get covered. Good luck taking time off. It's relatively impossible to get my schedule changed and the reason I'm quitting. There's no mercy even if you're putting in 40-50 hours a week at another job.
