dishwasher (Former Employee) – Akron, OH – June 19, 2019
The job was difficult and rough but I became a team player through the thick of things. Plus I made some friends there. I have seen a lot of different kitchens before but the way this kitchen maneuvered ,it could handle so many people and attract guests with great food that I think that the hotel lived up to its name.
The Hilton had alot of parties and events we had to tend to no matter what.
the numbers of business wrent what i was there for all the way.
Dynamic and interesting work environment but mentally demanding.
Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor (Current Employee) – Dallas, TX – July 20, 2019
Would 100% recommend working for a Hilton corporate property (I can't speak for franchises). Few problems such as terrible property management system called Onq. Also hotels are open 24 hours 365 days a week forcing you to deal with extremely flexible scheduling.
Housekeeping (Former Employee) – Miami, FL – July 20, 2019
Some of the supervisor didnt know how to talk to you .You only get pto .If you call in for something personal they'll give you three days off.If the hotel was slow they would wait until u come all the way and to tell you that your off.
