W@H CUSTOMER CARE AGENT (Current Employee) – Home – June 20, 2019
I work from home and it's very stressful. When a member calls and you can't help them, if you transfer to the department that can, you get pushback. You have to watch your hold time which is unavoidable and you get penalized for it. The system always has glitches in them and the tech department is really no help. Management really knows how to make you feel low however, the benefits & perks are good as far as staying at a Hilton property. My co-workers are really nice. For what we go through on a daily basis, the pay is lousy. This job is not for everyone. If you're young and looking for your 1st job working from home, it's okay.
In Room Dining Manager (Former Employee) – Orlando, FL – July 17, 2019
Working at this property is incredibly rewarding. This hotel is the FLAGSHIP of Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Which means you have a lot of eyes on you at all times. Good and Bad...everyone wants to be the best.
Manager (Former Employee) – Evanston, IL – July 17, 2019
A terrific location with interesting guests, squandered in every way imaginable by clueless owners and hotel management. Used to be a great property - has potential for so much more, but hotel owner is the worst as they've let the property degrade and subsequently lose customers year after year. Hotel has not been updated in years - is dirty and falling apart in many areas. Employees - including managers - do not stay once they realize it is a dead end job. Challenging and wholly frustrating workplace culture.
