Company owner and other office management don't communicate very well if at all to the department managers that makes production difficult. Give credit where credit is due. Pay closer attention to the employees that give it their all. Including the temps.

Great coworkers, High quality products.

I really enjoy my coworkers at Hiniker. They work hard and go out of their way to help me. Everyone has been welcoming since day 1 and we mesh well even though we have a wide range of ages on the sales team. I genuinely believe we are making high quality equipment that customers love, and I find that fulfilling. We have new management and they are all great leaders so I'm excited to see the company improve.

Poor Supervision

Half of the entire building is not heated or ACNo room for progressionPoor management system-30 degrees to 120 degreesThey provide the employees little to no gear for the harsh conditions we worked.Supervisors will talk about anyone and everyone behind their backs and act nice to their faces. The only time warehouse workers get to warm up or cool off is when they drive their forklifts through the production line to deliver the work orders. I would not advise getting a job here. Worst place I've ever worked and I worked at smithfield executing crippled hogs.

Trying to make improvements

The company is really trying to make improvements, but still has quite a ways to go. We are getting new equipment. The lighting has improved. Outdated computers have been replaced.Steps appear to be taken to improve the workflow, but it doesn’t seem to be having effect. That, to me, is the biggest negative. There seems to be plenty of orders coming in, but the supply of materials to produce the finished product isn’t what it should be.Pretty good compensation. It could be better, but I think it’s fair. The medical insurance leaves something to be desired.

Lots of changes over the past couple of years, a big investment in new employees and equipment. Many people existing employees are dont like change.
