Private Duty Nurse (Former Employee) – Smithfield, ME – August 7, 2017
I took care of a client that had end stage ALS. I learned a lot about ALS. Management was supportive and responded promptly to questions or concerns. Workplace culture really depended on which client home you were assigned to. Some homes and families were a pleasure to work in and with, others not so much. The hardest part of the job was the travel. The most enjoyable was the satisfaction from helping someone to continue to live in their home.
the ability to work one on one.
No real breaks as there is no one to cover for you. You eat when you can and jump up if needed.
