RN Case Manager in Remote
on March 11, 2022
I started working for Home & Health Care Management in early December of 2021--- Best Christmas present ever! Just to describe a typical day at work... I start promptly at 8:00 AM- log in check emails, follow-up with co-workers, and then reach out to participants, and their family members to provide case management services. Prior to working here at HHCM, the burn-out from direct patient care during the COVID pandemic made me reconsider nursing all together. However, discovering the role of RN case manager has opened doors for opportunities in this sector of nursing. HHCM as an organization is evolving, and they continuously building upon the 40-year foundational history. The notable company aspects include the immense managerial support, I feel that I can reach out and get help 24-7, and with the remote work in place, it helps with that work- and-life balance. The hardest part of the job is trying to separate your mind away from thinking about your participants once you are off the clock. I think about ways I can help my clients, supplies they may need, etc. So turning off work thoughts may be the hardest part. The most enjoyable part of the job for me is the ability to connect with a diverse network of individuals from different healthcare backgrounds, and their points of views in regards to managing clients. I am thankful for my position at HHCM.

Poor management . You never know who is your supervisor... You as an employee have no support what so ever. Work hours is not steady... They do not protect there employees from malicious patients who take a great pleasure in having aides fired

If the owner was removed there might be hope for this company! I would not recommend this company to anyone for so many reasons! No paid holidays! That was something I’ve never experienced before.

My own experience here has been excellent by any measurement. My role in IT keeps me active with a variety of the programs here. I've never been anywhere prior with the quality of co-workers I have from any department or program here. On top of that, the work I do actually matters and makes a difference in helping people who really do need it. I see myself sticking around for a long time here.

The women at this company (Not all, but the majority) wait and watch you like a hawk and wont attempt to help you out but they do tell my supervisor. There were several occations when I could hear my name being brought up that has nothing to do with work. MISTAKES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. Anyhow, what I did learn is that not everyone is like me. I am kind and compassionate and trustworthy and loyal. I was called stupid without the exact words coming out. There was one time that I was being talked about when the group didn't know I was in the same room. The nurses that work there (you would think would be stuck up) are the sweetest, kindest most caring women there. The people who made it miserable for me were more towards the front of the office. Well, I would never work there again, nor would I let anyone that I care about apply.
