Easy going, fast paced environment that results in moving a lot of product quickly. Management takes care of its employees. The hardest part is that sometimes the job makes me sore.

A Cool Place to Work
Shift Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Grand Rapids, MIApril 9, 2019
You come to work everyday and do the same task over and over until you hate it. When I worked there, the day-to-day managers were excellent, but the upper management seemed very disconnected.

Good place to work, good pay and hours, casual but professional

Very casual, but still professional. My job was 10 am hour but the drivers made commission, meaning very good pay if you wanted it. Manager was very capable, however the facility was in need of some improvement.
Pros
Work environment, management.

Highly motivated adults or first job seekers are what they look for in an employee. Watch your paychecks they do try to short you if they can. Management was good not sure about currently.

Pros
Faster you work the more you can earn
Cons
Physically exhausting, unload 20, 000 lb of ice daily by hand

Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) –  Woodridge, ILMarch 13, 2019
There were 3 shifts 8 hours each so the ice making machines ran 24 hours long, I worked the 3-11 and you show up clock in and prepare yourself cause you work in a refrigerator at about 10 degrees there is 4 machines that do 3 different types of bags of ice and those machines like to break and jam a lot so we the workers were taught to fix most problems, but for almost 8 hours straight you are bagging, stacking, and moving pallets of ice in a freezer trying to make sure the ice machine doesn't over flow and if you work fast enough and have a good couple of workers you can have almost a 25 minute break every hour but most days I worked there were under staffed and we were lucky to have one break per day. One last remark adding onto there lack of staffing I had a fellow staff member leave me without notice hours before the end of the shift leaving me by myself and this was more than once.
Pros
some nice staff
Cons
Poor management

Horrible place to work. Bad equipment and unsafe conditions. One facility doesn’t even have a door you have to enter the building through the dock by climbing between the building and the trailer
