Poor management at the Portage location
Service Department (Former Employee) –  Portage, WIMay 5, 2019
The GM at the Portage location and upper management for HRAG in general are all about the numbers and who cares about anything else. They can't keep sales people and turnover is nearly constant. The store has a bad reputation around town and customers are going elsewhere.
Pros
None
Cons
Poor management that is too numbers driven.

All about the numbers, not the customers. They spend more money on drug testing then advertisements. The owners of this establishment have no heart or backbone.

Parts Manager/Service Manager (Current Employee) –  Rhinelander, WIApril 15, 2019
Plenty of room for advancement, promote within, tons of dealerships in wisconsin to relocate if you are looking to move, good management. Open to new ideas, higher ups actually listen to what you have to say. good problem resolution, underpaid for my position nationally, but locally, pay if good.

Service Advisor (Former Employee) –  Rhinelander, WIApril 4, 2019
Poor management, no communication, stressful work environment. No concaquenses for the people who don’t show up for work or that do nothing all day. The less you do, the further you make it there.

I enjoyed working with Home Run Auto Group and will miss them when I move to Arizona. The upper management is very helpful. They were eager to have me start right away and were helpful in getting the process going.

Consultant, Nissan Service/Parts Mgr (Former Employee) –  Janesville, WIApril 27, 2018
The opportunities are endless, but they fail to recognize talent and jobs well done. The pay is based on the job performed, which can be all over the place, up and down, again, depending on the job performed. That makes it very difficult to budget at home. They are very business focused, which is great for profit, but need to be more employee focused as they are the ones performing the work that bring the profits. If employees are happy, policy accounts would be reduced. Happy employees lead to happy customers which lead to customer loyalty which leads to increased sales and customer satisfaction which lead to increased profits. When Home Run realizes that, everyone will be happier.
Pros
Good business sense
Cons
Seems to be a lot of turnover, poor people skills and hiring processes. Good people plugged into bad processes.

Finance Manager (Current Employee) –  Rhinelander, WIJune 29, 2017
In this group they dont really have a formal training. They throw people into the fire and expect them to come up with their own extinguisher. They privately post requisitions to replace people who arent performing to their expectations without actually coaching the current employees first. Its either perform or peace out...
Pros
Potential to make money if sales people can sell cars
Cons
Countless hours wasted with no $$ to show for it
